Pauline Morris Williams, a 44-year-old member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, was last seen on August 3, 2003, in Philadelphia, Mississippi. After failing to collect her final paycheck, her family reported her missing, raising immediate concerns. Some reports suggest she may have been last observed near a bridge on Road 155 over Beasha Creek, a popular local gathering spot near Edinburg, Mississippi. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance. Despite initial investigations by local law enforcement, the case remains unsolved.
In 2022, the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) renewed investigative efforts, including interviews and DNA submissions to the FBI crime lab.
